Η ΙΤΑΛΙΑ ΠΡΩΤΑΘΛΗΤΡΙΑ ΕΥΡΩΠΗΣ U19 ITALY WINS FIRA-AER U19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Η Ιταλία νίκησε στον τελικό του Ευρωπαϊκού Πρωταθλήματος κάτω των 19 ετών τη Γεωργία με σκορ 16-3. Την Κυριακή 31 Οκτωβρίου στην Κοϊμπρα της Πορτογαλίας οι Ιταλοί νέοι, έπαιξαν εξαιρετικά και δίκαια κέρδισαν το τρόπαιο. Στον ημιτελικό νίκησαν την Ισπανία με 40-10 και στον προημιτελικό την Πορτογαλία με 45-5. Η Γεωργία νίκησε στον ημιτελικό τη Ρωσία με 12-8 και στον προημιτελικό τη Γερμανία με 34-3. Η Ισπανία κέρδισε την 3η θέση νικώντας τη Ρωσία με 27-24. Η Πορτογαλία ήρθε 5η νικώντας με 22-10 την Πολωνία. Έβδομο ήρθε το Βέλγιο νικώντας τη Γερμανία με 10-5. Στους λοιπούς προημιτελικούς αγώνες: Ρωσία - Πολωνία: 28-8, Βέλγιο – Ισπανία: 24-27, Πορτογαλία – Βέλγιο: 12-12 (4-2 kicks) & Γερμανία – Πολωνία: 14-22.
Italy won the final of FIRA-AER U19 European Championship, against Georgia by 16-3. Italians wan also in the semi-final the Spanish team (40-10) and before that the Portuguese team (45-5). Georgia won in the semifinal the Russians by 12-8 and before them the Germans by 34-3. The rest matches: 3rd place: Spain- Russia: 27-24, 5th place: Portugal – Poland: 22-10, 7th place: Belgium – Germany: 10-5. In the previous matches: Russia – Poland: 28-8, Belgium – Spain: 24-27, Portugal – Belgium: 12-12 (4-2 kicks), Germany – Poland: 14-22.

ΝΟΡΒΗΓΙΑ
Η ΜΠΕΡΓΚΕΝ ΠΡΩΤΑΘΛΗΤΡΙΑ ΣΕ ΑΝΤΡΕΣ ΚΑΙ ΓΥΝΑΙΚΕΣ
Η Μπέργκεν στην δέκατη επέτειο της ίδρυσής της, κατέκτησε το πρωτάθλημα 15 παικτών, κερδίζοντας τον τελικό απέναντι στην Σταβανγκερ με σκορ 33-24. Στον τελικό επιτεύχθηκαν έξι τράι. Για την Στάβανγκερ ήταν ο πρώτος τελικός. Απέκλεισε όμως στον ημιτελικό τους περσυνούς πρωταθλητές του Όσλο.
Στις γυναίκες, δεν υπήρχε αντίπαλος. Νίκησαν άνετα τα πρωταθλήματα 10 και 7 παικτριών.
Η επόμενη διοργάνωση στη Νορβηγία είναι τον Φεβρουάριο, οπότε διεξάγεται το πρωτάθλημα 7s κλειστού γηπέδου.
Norway
National title for both Bergen men and women
For the 10th anniversary of the club, Bergen Rugby Klubb won the final of the 15-a-side Norwegian championship last week-end against Stavanger Rugby Klubb. Conditions were perfect for a great rugby game, and after a close game, Bergen won 33-24.
No less than 6 tries were scored during the final. Bergen slightly dominated in scrum while Stavanger had some very mobile backs players able to attack anywhere anytime. It was the first time Stavanger reach the final in about 10 years, they will for sure try to get their revenge next year, as well as the defending 2008 champion, Oslo Rugby Klubb, which loose this year at home in semi-final against Stavanger.
For the women, Bergen S.I. is the uncontested champion of the year. The girls managed to win both the Norwegian 10’s and 7’s championships. Bergen girls suprematy may nevertheless be contested next season by the significantly improved women team of Oslo Rugby Klubb. 2010 season will thus be extremely interesting.
The next rugby event for Norwegian rugby players is the “ValHall 7s indoor tournament” to be held in Οslo on February 27th 2010. Stavanger for the men and Bergen for the women are the defending champions and will try to keep the trophy home.

Το 47ο πρωτάθλημα Λιθουανίας τελείωσε τον Οκτώβριο. Έντεκα ομάδες από τη Λιθουανία, μία από τη Λετονία και μία από το Καλίλινγκραντ της Ρωσίας, συμμετείχαν στη διοργάνωση την οποία κέρδισε η Vairas-Jupoja για 25η φορά στην ιστορία της. Η ομάδα που ξεκίνησε πριν από 36 χρόνια, πέτυχε την κατάκτηση του τέταρτου τίτλου της για φέτος, καθώς κέρδισε επίσης: το Κύπελλο Βαλτικής, το Λιθουανικό 7s, και το Λιθουανικό πρωτάθλημα Beach Rugby
Lithuania
National Title for Vairas-Jupoja
The 47th rugby championship of Lithuania has finished on October.
Eleven teams from Lithuania, one from Latvia and one from Russia (Kaliningrad district) participated to this competition won for the 25th time of its history by the Vairas-Jupoja, club of Siauliai’s city. Great year for this club founded 36 years ago, which won four title this season: the Baltic Cup, the Lithuanian Seven Championship and the Lithuanian Beach Rugby Championship.
Νορβηγία – Δανία. Η μάχη των Βίκινγκς
Για την κατηγορία 3Β αγωνίστηκαν στο γήπεδο του Μπέργκεν της Νορβηγίας, στις 17 Οκτωβρίου. Ήταν η πρώτη φορά που η κρατική τηλεόραση της Νορβηγίας, το TV2 sport, μετέδωσε αγώνα της Εθνικής. Προηγήθηκε εκπομπή που έδωσε έμφαση στη μάχη των Βίκινγκ.
Norway-Denmark,
the Clash of the Vikings
Norway vs. Denmark, Match of European Nations Cup Division 3B, was played in Fana stadium of Bergen (Norway) on October 17th. The local club is putting lots of energy in organizing this game, trying to make the history of rugby in Norway with this event.
It was the first international match of the rugby national team to go out on Norwegian national TV, TV2 sport. With several show before the match, as a viking battle reenactment, this match where attented Shane Byrne, international rugby player for Ireland and British Lions, has given to the Norwegian rugby a new dimension and lots of encouragement for the future.
Σουηδία: η Ενκέπινγκ και η Γκέτεμποργκ, κατέκτησαν τους τίτλους. Η Ενκέπινγκ, μετά από ένα λασπώδες ματς, κατέκτησε το πρωτάθλημα ανδρών, νικώντας στον τελικό την Στοκχόλμη. Στις γυναίκες η Γκέτεμποργκ νίκησε με 29-10 στον αντίστοιχο τελικό την Ουπσάλα, πιο δύσκολα απ’ ότι δείχνει το σκορ.
Sweden - Enköping and Göteborg take titles.
In wet and greasy conditions Enköping claimed the mens rugby championship from Stockholm Exiles in a game they commanded from start to finish. Won by 15-3. at Uppsala, Göteborg won the second women's final 29-10 against Uppsala in a match that was less one sided than the score suggests.
